Well we spoke to the hospital today and we have somewhat of an answer to Dad's condition. He has been diagosed with MRSA Pneumonia! They are beginning treatment today. Not sure if something else will arise, but at least we are starting to get some answers that can be treated. He has lost some blood so he is getting 2 units of blood transfusion today. Not sure why he has a low hemoglobin, could be related to kidney failure. The Drs entered him into study today, for drugs that combat MRSA Pneumonia, Mom had to give her consent. The Dr has hope, or he would not have contacted the Research Dept...Mom said, I hope someone else can be helped through ALL OF THIS. If he doesn't take care of himself when he gets home, he's really going to be in trouble." We don't want to and cannot go through this again...it's not an easy thing. We are not out of the woods yet, but things are looking brighter for us and hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Continue to lift your prayers and keep those candles burning at Blessed Sacrament and St. Francis.
